I have D Plan and my Priority is 19. I'm not going to argue, it will get here when it gets here.

Based on the short order window, and the people saying they found out their dealer screwed it up and didn't get their order in on time, I'm just happy to have actually got mine in correct and confirmed.

Can the dealer change the priority code later on....?
Yes. Can change it for better or worse whenever they want. Even when it is something super close to being built (like a 2). But if they move it out of 2, they cant move it back themselves, as anything below a 10 is not dealer controlled. So don't ask them to change it unless it is between 10-19.

Also the COVP my dealer sent me says: Thank you for your order enrollment. Your claim is being reviewed and you should receive a confirmation status via email within 72 hours. So I assume Ford should have sent a follow up to my dealer with the CVOP approval?
In the good old days when they did not have (guessing) 100K orders to manually check for COVP, yes. In today world? I bet they dont make their self-imposed 72 hour deadline for a reply.

I see a lot of comments on here about either chatting or calling Ford to check on the status of their order. Do I just go to the Ford website to chat with someone? What phone# is everyone calling?

Ford Marketing number/customer service.... 1-800-334-4375. You will get a recording asking why you are calling. Just say you want to check on the status of an order. Then it will ask you what vehicle.....Maverick.....then a live person will come on.....Some of them are very good, some are just okay. It sounds like you never got a order confirmation email from Ford, which does happen. Most covp confirmations are still backlogged because orders came in so fast. You can only get that confirmation from your dealer. I wouldn't even bother them for 2 more weeks. You should be able to get order confirmation by calling the number. If they tell you it's clean and in order processing, that's all you can get from them right now. The covp is a toal different confirmation then the order received confirmation.

I did get a confirmation email from Ford for both my Maverick orders so there's that at least. I guess I'll just wait at this point until Ford is able to catch up will all the orders.

I did get a confirmation email from Ford for both my Maverick orders so there's that at least. I guess I'll just wait at this point until Ford is able to catch up will all the orders.
Some dealers are really nice about giving you proof of approval, others not so much. Hope you have the first one. Its just one less thing to not know.
