Why does this Ford dealer have 5,000 mile service intervals?

I have 20,000 miles on my 2022 Maverick and called a local dealer regrading the 20,000 service. They told me they don't have a 20,000 mile service. They have 5,000 and 15,000. Of course the manual states 10k intervals. I'm guessing the dealership is greedy? If not, why the difference in service intervals?

Dealer practices might find it easier to recommend a standard interval rather than tailored for each year / model / powertrain.

The Maverick hybrid is a hodge-podge:
- Oil: whenever the monitor says (ranges from 5,000 - 12,500 depending on driving conditions)
- Brake fluid: 3 years (mileage independent)
- Other (filters, plugs, fluids, belts): Every 20k, 30k, 100k, 150k, 200k* or 10 years

Other than inspection items, only the cabin air filter is recommended to change at the 20k interval.
