Why can the engineers at Ford not be more consistent between vehicles

I know when I was into Mopars the ones I had were consistent, but that has been more than a decade.

My first was an 94bCaptice non LT1, was in after that went up in flames until getting an Interceptor sedan. The Interceptor controls are just like my Flex was. The Maverick total opposite.

Hey brother couple days ago some of other members in your area were talking about a meet up around you . Hope it gets put together love to make a run up there and talk at you face to face and shake your hand. By the way I had a Caprice with just a 350 cu. I called it a my boat and it definitely would not get out of its own way.
