I am working on two months with my new 2026 Maverick Lariat Hybrid AWD. I love it so far. Exceptional gas mileage!!! This will be my main retirement vehicle as of October 1st 2026.

Very true. There's a lot to love about our Mavericks. You won't find too many disappointed owners here. Sure, there's always something to complain about or wish otherwise, but overall I'd say the Maverick is an 8 or 9 in customer satisfaction.
WE Do get some of those.. ☹

I picked up my '24 hybrid Lariat on 1/31/2024. Other than replacing the 12V battery with a Walmart AGM battery because of constant battery saver issues, it has been great. Winter mileage is 32 - 35 MPG. Once it hits 50, I get a constant 40-50 MPG. Sorry, with the " orange guy " in charge, I love the mileage now.

Roughly 13,000 on truck, tires in excellent condition no chips, scratches in paint. Primary use hauling things the only item replaced is the battery by the dealer with a agm battery have not had any issues no cels, no squeaking everything works at it should however I use the sport mode quite a lot I love breaking loose the tires but I thought for sure I would be replacing the cv axles by now but the truck drivers true and straight with no shaking awesome truck I plan on keeping it for a while.

Still have my '22 Lariat hybrid with 32K miles, with mixed emotions.

On paper, it's perfect; affordable to purchase , economical to drive, easy to maneuver.

In reality, I've had had lots of little issues. Nothing major, but combined, I honestly don't think I'd buy another new Ford product.

  • Rear window seals separated. Was fixed under warranty and now replacements are seperating. (No longer under warranty)
  • 12V battery died. Was replaced under warranty, but still have the sleep issue.
  • Oil leak found during last oil change. (Need to schedule a return visit to address)
  • Driver side BLIS light intermittently activates when no car is next to me (started after warranty period expired)
  • Visited 2 different dealers before I got one to agree to perform the TSB software update on the slow speed brake catch issue.
  • Various TSBs for air bags (chose not to have done), underbody cover cut / grill shutter removal etc.

We ordered our XLT on 11 June 2021 and it was delivered on St. Patrick's Day 2022. 🍀
Definitely still love it!

Anyone else have lower mileage on a MY22? At this rate you should be keeping it for a long, long time!!

I got mine January 2022 and just turned 90,000 miles this morning. Truck has had no issues drives great and I'm getting 30+ per gallon. I'm planning on driving this for another 90,000
