I know for now nothing is happening, but who ordered using one of the AZDX Plans?

I want to order a Hybrid when the order banks open back up this summer and I can get D Plan pricing through my father-in-law, but wasn't sure if anyone got any push back trying to use a Ford Plan.

Short of Granger doing another awesome order deal (I really hope they do on the hybrid) I think D Plan pricing is going to be by best bet to get a deal.

I have my order priced on x-plan, but dealer does not need the PIN until delivery timing.

It is important, however, to get a signed agreement on plan pricing at the time of the order, to avoid "surprises" when delivery rolls around. And not all dealers will honor plan pricing on certain models, so be aware of that as well.

That actually answers another question. Wasn't sure if ordering using a Plan price offered any protection from markup at delivery

Mine was ordered Z plan, Ford retiree same pricing as A plan. Have had assurances face to face with salesperson and General Manager they sell AXZ per the rules with no markup. Did offer up that retail is as much as they can get.

I though D plan was for employees of a dealer? Like the sales people? No call out here. Just not real familiar how D plan works.

D plan is any dealership employee and they can get pin numbers for family (to a certain extent)

I ordered X plan with no issues. But that was in July and it's not even scheduled yet. It only saved a few hundred off MSRP on an XLT with Lux but in today's market I'll take it.

Can you tell me what your understanding of the "cap" on document fees is with the X plan. From what I read, it is $100, but I don't see anyone commenting on here that, that actually happened when they picked up their Maverick. Can anyone clarify? Thanks.

According to the A/X/Z Plan website, here are the document fee maximums. A and Z Plan have the same vehicle prices and rules. A Plan is for current employees and Z Plan is for retirees and eligible family members for both.

Document Fees

Dealers will be permitted to assess up to $75 (AZ-Plan) or $100 (X-Plan) in documentary fees on each delivery to an eligible purchaser under the terms of the Plan, unless otherwise provided by state or local laws or regulation. Each dealer is responsible for complying with Plan Rules, applicable laws and regulations.

I just ordered one yesterday and my dealer (who we know and have dealt with for years) said they couldn't see A plan pricing at time of ordering(system was rejecting it supposedly), but would honor it when the truck is delivered. Let's hope that is true!

I ordered my Maverick back in June, came in last week and sale was completed as a d-plan, which is $100 over a/z plan. My msrp was $33580 and d-plan was $31,676, but my doc fees were $229...Since I have worked at my dealer for almost 30 years, they knew it would be a d-plan puchase, but were probably hoping I wouldn't take it, so they could mark it up and make ka-ching $$$ on a hybrid -- I let the salepeople use my vehicle to show people for ordering, but that will end now, with order banks closing tomorrow -- the 7 month wait for my truck was well worth it, in my opinion...
p.s. the young lady who orders our stock and sold units say that if a dealer drops below 70% conversion from order to completed sale (in the same name), the dealer may lose allocation -- Ford is watching conversions closely...

Thanks. That's what I thought, but no one on the MTC site seemed to validate that. . . until now. Going to take my X plan information to the dealer when my Maverick comes in and bring it up to them if they have the higher document fees on the contract.

I can confirm, with X plan, they capped the doc fee to $100. I got mine using X plan.
