I think that's a sure bet. I'll put a reminder in my phone for that day so I don't forget and get excited over a you're still screwed email.

Yup, got the same.e-mail today. Initially ordered an XL Hybrid Oct. 25, 2021. Never was scheduled. Had dealer convert to a '23 XLT Hybrid on Sept. 15, 2022. Still not scheduled. At least the E-mail referenced the newer XLT order. Meanwhile, I found an XL Hybrid on a local dealers lot that went unclaimed by the original customer and bought it. I figured that I might never get my original order, and a bird in the hand was far better than one in the bush. If I ever do get my order, I can decide to sell one of them.

Received it. Since my order is for a hybrid, Ford should have said: 'You will probably not get your Maverick". Reorder in 2024.
