I've had many vehicles over the years, and each manufacturer has quite its fair share of passionate owners who feel their vehicle's manufacturer is superior to all other vehicles on the road in any situation or scenario (well, except maybe for recent Chrysler owners). Maverick owners are no different in that. But trying to be unbiased, which manufacturer, in your experience has the MOST passionate owners? I'd put forth BMW for consideration, with Subaru a close second. There is no wrong answer. :)

I have all Fords but I don't go around telling everyone they are the best lol. People should choose vehicles based on their needs, what they enjoy, and can afford. If you buy a vehicle just because of the brand I feel like you will be disappointed. They are all very similar anymore I feel like. But to answer the question probably Tesla. Some crazy fans on that one.

I've owned mostly Fords all my life with a couple Chevys here and there. I don't know if I could truly define "most passionate" but I can define quite a few others (my own opinions and some will disagree which is totally fine).
Tesla owners-Most Pretentious (with Toyata Prius owners right behind them)
Subaru owners-Most brand loyal
Jeep owners-Most in denial about overpaying for a Stellantis product (also the weird duck thing...)
Chevy Truck owners-Most obnoxious (Ecoboost Mustang owners following closely behind)
Corvette owners-Most passionate I suppose (especially C5 and previous generations...and I say this because it was crazy how the diehard Corvette folks were angered by doing away with pop up headlights on the C6)

There are surveys out there about customer satisfaction, customer likelihood to buy the same model, and initial quality - all different things.

I think you're referring to "passion", which I would say is usually (not always) tied to a model rather than a brand. There are brands that have owner passion, like Ferrari, Porsche, Dodge. For models you have Wrangler, Corvette, Mustang, some of the big engine Dodge models, etc. I guess the brand that left the best feeling for me was Mazda. Highly reliable sports cars that were ridiculously fun. 3 Miatas and an RX7. Would have been 4 Miatas but I got old about the time the ND came out.

I don't intend this as trolling, because I like my Maverick well enough. But the Maverick is not a passion car. It's an Escape with the back cut off. It's plain, utilitarian, and it will never inspire passion. It's an inexpensive toaster. And that's fine, because an inexpensive toaster is what millions of us buyers need right now. It toasts bread at low cost and generally doesn't burn the house down.

I think the last survey I saw had the Rivian as the most passionate brand in 2024 - might have that wrong. Owners love them. And I've talked with a few Rivian owners (seems crazy that you would find multiple Rivians in my tiny Western NC mountain town) and they glow with love for those things.

Hard to say these days because of all the changes. My Mav has been great for a couple of years but I just got a recall for the backup camera.
There's 3 guys at work that have old high mileage Crown Vics that they swear by but there's no real replacement for them. Ford just came out with a new "Crown Vic" but it's in name only.
Hoping my Mav lasts a long time.
For passionate owners I'd say Harley.
I just replaced fuel injectors on my Miata but I don't drive it much and it's a 1991.

Manufacturer? That's kind of hard. I'd almost say Toyota but they aren't really passionate until you imply that their cars aren't the most reliable appliances around (they have a well deserved reputation for that, but they aren't as good as they have been).

One could also say Jeep, but that's a brand, not a manufacturer. Same with Mustang and Corvette, these particular brands/models have very passionate customers, but the rest of their lineup...not so much. Even Ford, let's face it. Commercial trucks aren't something you get passionate about either.

Maybe Mazda back when they were still doing the Zoom-Zoom thing? I had two of them and loved them.
