Does anyone know which hybrid builds that Ford is prioritizing? (Lariat, XLT, or XL). I currently have a Lariat Hybrid with Luxury package and co-pilot assist on order, as well as an order for an XLT hybrid with luxury package and co-pilot 360 on order. The XLT was ordered first and was placed within 24 hours of Ford opening order banks and had a priority 19 code, and the Lariat was a last-minute decision that was placed on the last day of the order banks, but oddly enough has a priority 16 code. What do you think would be most likely to actually get built? After reading that Ford will only be able to build about half of the hybrid orders, i'm assuming this means that I have a pretty good chance that at least one of them will be built. Any thoughts?

Actually, going by the latest info from Ford Video Guy, the number is pretty close to 50%. See below:

According to Tim this evening:

68% Hybrid orders compared to 35% capacity.
32% EB orders compared to 65% capacity.

Other than the hybrid, standalone tow hitch and splashguards seem to be the items over build capacity.

XLT Lux = 30% capacity but 25% orders.
Lariat Lux = 25% capacity but 20% orders.
Tremor = 8% capacity but 2% orders

Appearance packages are all under capacity constraints compared to orders:

BAP = 10% capacity but 8% orders.
TAP = 3% capacity but "hardly anyone ordered it"

CP360 = 60% capacity but 50% orders
CP360A = 25% capacity but 8% orders.
SIBL = 39% capacity but 17% orders (Tim says leave off)
HBL = 25% capacity but 5% orders.
Moonroof = 38% capacity but 13% orders.
Hitch = 45% capacity but 65% orders... includes any packages that includes hitch.

Keep in mind those hitches are likely also on a lot of the hybrids that mathematically cannot be built. So, I don't know if I would remove the hitch. The hybrid would likely be the larger constraint than the hitch.

Note: this has been updated as more information had been requested.

Based on what we've seen it feels moderately random because it's based on things we don't have full info on like dealer allocation, how many orders your dealer has, what parts expected for a given week of manufacturing, etc. At this point, for Hybrid orders I think your best bet is to avoid constraints and hope for the best. That's really all that's in your control.

You can guess more expensive Trims and non-constrained but loaded out builds will be prioritized by profit. But there's also a chance simple has a chance to fill in a week where there's capacity. Unless Ford tells us something, I don't think there's a way to guess which will work out better.

Technically almost all of the information that we have comes from the same source. It's the same source that initially stated a 35% constraint, so yes

So should I remove the spray in bed liner option or keep it? According to the latest info, it doesn't appear to be a constraint relevant to the orders for that option. Is it too late to remove options from my order?

Posted on this forum right after the order bank closed per Timfordvideoguy
Ah then you may have misinterpreted. Of what Ford produces, 35% will be Hybrids. Their orders were 68% Hybrid, so people have been assuming they'll produce as many vehicles as they received orders and thus ~50% (35/68) of Hybrid orders will be produced.

Up to you. Since it's not constrained I probably wouldn't but I'd keep an eye out for it to become constrained. Tim said not to add it in the video, but if it's well under constrained I don't see any issue with it. But he knows more than I do. You can still remove orders, I just had my dealer remove my standalone trailer hitch to avoid constraints.
