When towing need constant power for brake unit

I flat tow my Lariat Hybrid Lux and the Patriat brake unit needs costant 12 volts to operate. The lighter plug shuts off and then no hybrid brakes. Cant seem to find anthing with constant power with everything off. Tried to leave in acc. and had a dead truck when I arrived at campground.

With the hybrid's 12v battery under the back seat, could you wire in a 12v outlet under the seat, fused of course?
