When do FordPass Reward Points show up?

This is a question for folks that have 2 vehicles and one Ford Pass Rewards Points account. When you purchased the second vehicle when did the new points show up on the account? Do you need two separate accounts?

I have points from my 2021 Ranger & my 2022 Hybrid Maverick., 84k. I have 1 Ford Pass account that both vehicles are listed. You hit the drop down box at the top on the main page and the vehicles you have added will be listed. When I sold my Ranger my points stayed on my Ford pass app even though I removed the vehicle from my account. And it took 2 days from purchase for my Maverick points to be added.

Thank you, I haven't seen the points posted to my account yet (3 weeks) and have asked the dealership to look into why. Do you lose the points if not used over time?

No, the points are yours once earned without an expiration date. I've had 42k from my Ranger for over a year. I decided to save them once I ordered my Mav to use towards a spray liner. My appointment is on the 24th and I have a $420.. credit from the 84k points on my account. 3 weeks is a long time. Call Ford Customer Service the dealership doesn't add the points, Ford does! Have you signed into Ford.com ? If you don't have an account with Ford, not just the app this may be why you don't see them on the app. They sync with each other. Create an account with ford.com then refresh your app...

I'm sure it wont take any longer than if you were buying a Ford for the first time on a new Rewards account.

I got my 42k points about a week and a half after the purchase.

So when you sign up, are you putting your VIN or other numbers in ?

So I have signed into Ford.com and both of my vehicles show up but there is no history of the Maverick being purchased. I tried to add a vehicle and put in the Maverick's VIN. A window popped up saying the VIN was not a valid VIN. More phone calls to be made Monday morning.

You have to contact your local Ford dealer's parts/accessories department and tell them what items you're wanting to order and that you're paying with FordPass points. They'll do the rest.

I purchased my Mav Wednesday last week, set up the app with my truck's VIN yesterday morning. Nothing yet and no history. Honestly, I'm not even sure Ford is aware of my purchase yet. I think the whole package is sitting at the dealer's Title department's desk waiting to be sent off to the appropriate parties (and my local DMV so I can register the thing!)

Yes, that’s what I’m trying to figure out. So you get reward points buying the truck (42,000) on your Fordpass account and the Ford Visa card is not connected but you get points for using the card for the down payment, etc but you can’t combine points from both? Sort of confusing‍

You can’t use your points on Ford.com to get the discount and pay for an item but you can order the accessory from the dealer, pay with points but no 15% discount Now I have to decide which is a better deal?

Someone also mentioned the points don’t expire but what I read in the FAQs is if there is no activity (purchases) in 365 days points expire.
