To be fair, like someone else mentioned, if they made it beep, there had better be an option to turn the sound off. Plus you'd probably have to turn the sound off everytime you got in the truck, which would be annoying.

Otherwise, your maverick would be beeping at you dozens or hundreds of times everytime you drove somewhere. Every single person I've ever driven with looks at their mirrors before changing lanes. So the light by itself is perfectly fine from our experience.

Most older people can't hear anyways. So they'd have to crank the sound up, blowing out the eardrums on younger passengers and making the experience even worse. If old people can't be bothered to check their mirrors, they don't deserve a license.
Again you don’t get the beep unless you use your turn signal while having a car in your blind spot. So no not hundreds of times a day and actually and hopefully you hear it rarely.

And most younger people can't hear it because their sound systems are turned up so loud with the bass vibrating their cars and blowing out the eardrums of everyone within 1/4 mile, that they couldn't hear it either. :)

Does anyone know why the Maverick doesn't have a Home link for your Garage door opener?
Probably for the same reason that Memory Drivers seat and Memory mirrors isn't an option, they are just not available options at this point in any trim level.

2 "simple" changes would leave me satisfied: (1) a screen that occupies entire area of audio display, (2) control of transmission gears (i.e. paddle shifters).

Agreed 😆. I wish everyone would just quiet down.

Replace cubby next to infotainment screen with a hvac vent or a larger screen.
Port and direct injection.
Keep auto/start stop off-not reactivated after every trip.
Cup holder removable inserts.
I bought one of those expandable ones that sit with the base about an inch above the factory one, my go to Maverick Truck club cup 🥤 with a handle from an old cup is perfect 👌 an easy reach with my arm on the pad, a no look insert at night

Xl poverty wagon so in keeping with cheap, plus one for remembering drive mode, one touch up/down widows(though my friends thought it was good they weren’t crank ups), better phone mic, or at least better placement.

I know I am an odd ball, but I wish Ford made a Maverick that was a 2 door model with a longer bed.
Yes! 100% 2 door with a 3 seat bench, just go column shifter & long bed would be the dream.

other than the obvious: rear seat needs to be split, add the missing grab handle on the driver side, usb charging port is a slow charge, bigger screen no cubby (or the fits plug instead of the cubby), sun glasses holder for the moon roof, XLT needs a better gauge cluster and headlights epically for the Luxury package.
