I originally used many of my Ford points for the black platinum ones; they were ok but didn't knock me out considering their cost. After my rear accident damage repair, I went with cheap black matte ones from Amazon and I'm much more impressed. My Mav is carbonized Gray, so I think what color depends on your vehicle. I'm a low-key lifestyle person so a "look at me" color didn't interest me. YMMV.

Got my new space white XL yesterday and first mod is tailgate MAVERICK letters. Searched and see all kinds of letters, vinyl, 2d, 3d, raised letters, matte, glossy etc. I think black is the way to go on white for sure but not sure of what ones to get. What ones did you use and are you happy with them? Must be different grades of vinyl used since there is a wide range of pricing. Dont mind spending more to get a really good set that will last.

Had my local graphic company create mine. Wanted to match some of my Blue accents. They did some other work on my truck.

I’ve gone from black to paint matching white.
It doesn’t scream anymore, but it does look more premium than the stamped outlines.
