I don't think anyone knows yet as they have not started making them yet. I believe it is next week when they open up the queue for orders again which is when they will start making them.

Edit: Someone in another post said they open 08/02

From how Ford has used the term in past years, think of it like a coupon for a set $$$ value that can ONLY be redeemed by you. You can't sell the coupon code on Ebay. I assume that is the same format they will use for this 2023 Maverick ordering fiasco.

So, Ford will offer me some type of discount then, towards the cost of the 2023MY Maverick.

Sure. A fixed dollar value "discount". Like a litteral "1,000 dollar off" coupon that is assigned to you specifically.

Even with that offer I expect to have to pay more and probably get less. I want acc and to get that I need to have a Lariat lux. If that was available in lower trim levels I would do that. Note that acc is either standard or available on mid trim levels on many cars sold today.

I expect to see some optioning changes for 2023 to allow for a bit more granularity due to all the constraints. Like SIBL ... so dumb that I can't drop SIBL from my Lariat lux order to decrease constraints.

I have the same issue. The only thing I want is acc and I am forced to the Lariat Lux package to get that. My wife's Subie has it and I love it.

So yesterday I had my sales manager call me back (as I had stopped in to talk to him on the July 5th and rolling the order over and what I need to do) and he was on lunch..
So in the conversation with him was the private offer is king good for u and the dealership... As in before with price protection the dealership had to try to get ur date of order and what was available for financing rate at the time of order and he basicwsaid it was a pain in the ass.. Also that ford was supposed to reimburse the dealerships of the difference of the price and what was price protected..and ford hasn't been getting that money to the dealerships in a timely manner.
With the private offer is basically a coupon or and insentive that is tailored to ur order based on what u had ordered in 22 to put toward the price increase of the 23 and that it was easier for the dealership to set up the sale of the truck and it was a savings and the dealership doesn't have to wait for ford to reimburse them either
