What is a authorized driver when setting up Ford Pass

i have filled in everything i can read and do on the ford pass app.Now it tells me i have to wait for a AUTHORIZED DRIVER to approve it.i,m sure im missing something but just who or what is considered AUTHORIZED DRIVER?ok, quit laughing and tell me how to get this finished up.

Did go into your truck and on the infotainment screen select or approve yourself? I think you have to do something like that, but mine was set up by the dealer and was working fine the day I left I didn't do anything.

Just like 2 Factor Authentication.
Here's an app request to Ford's systems saying give me access to this truck.
Just because you had a VIN doesn't mean it's yours to connect with.
If it's yours, you should be able to get into the truck.
And finish the steps there.

CONNECTING FORDPASS TO THE MODEM

1. Make sure that the modem is enabled using the vehicle settings menu.

1. Open the FordPass app on your device and log in.

1. Add your vehicle or select your vehicle if already added.

1. Select the option to activate your vehicle.

1. Make sure that the name on the screen matches the name shown in your FordPass account.

1. Confirm that FordPass account is connected to the modem.

ok,still says im waiting on a authorized driver to set this up.it should not be hard to do this.internet is strong in truck and house so what else should i look for.it,s always the easy stuff that just doesn’t work for me

OK so you're the only owner, an Authorized Driver is when you share the acces to the car via Ford App with others

Another question...have you ever had the Ford Pass App with another car/truck...or someone else in your household. Had that happen to a friend that was trying to enter a truck on the Ford Pass app but it was already set by her husband on his Ranger...so he had to allow access on the Raptor to be added. May not be this...but it's one scenario.....
