What documents should I have received after submitting order?

I'm reading through some threads here and realizing that it appears I should have gotten an email (directly from Ford?) confirming they received my order. Is this correct?

I placed an order with my local dealership on Friday, Sept 16, after the order banks crashed on Thursday. All I have is the "order summary" with my full build that I signed and sent back to the dealer. He responded that he would submit the order and be in touch with me when he got a scheduled build date.

Insist on seeing a screenshot of the order bank listing showing your order # and status or some documentation that was sent to them from Ford showing approval.
My dealer would never give me anything showing Ford approval or current status and I never received a confirmation from Ford and now they are saying my order myteriously vanished from the order bank after insisting everything was submitted and good "trust me". Don't! Better to verify now than wait 6+ months down the road thinking you have an order.

I also asked for and got a signed "final out the door statement " with taxes and everything .

You need 2 things. Call your dealer and get the following information
Order Code (Letter+3 numbers)
Sales Code (Letter+5 numbers)
then go on Ford website -> Contact -> Chat
give them those numbers to confirm your order
check your mail junk box. ford emails have been known to go there
then the final and most important step...
