Oxford white, then wrap the roof in matte black.

@theek and @the1mrb thanks to you I am undecided on a possible color choice. I am now 40% Blackout and 60% Cyber Orange. The deciding factor will be trim price of course. Cyber orange is a top trim color. If that carries over to the Maverick, I will have to opt out for black. Fingers crossed that is not the case.

Studying Ford’s website I see that on an Escape all standard and optional colors are available on a base S model. Conversely, on a Base model Bronco Sport the only colors available are black, white, grey and silver. It seems a shame that someone interested in a base model has such limited options. Hoping the Maverick base has a full spread of colors. The original 1970 Maverick was available in 15 colors!:
Colors: Anti-Establish Mint, Hulla Blue, Original Cinnamon, Freudian Gilt, Thanks Vermillion, Candyapple Red, Black Jade, Champagne Gold, Gulfstream Aqua, Meadowlark Yellow, Brittany Blue, Lime Gold, Dresden Blue, Raven Black, Wimbledon White

The 70's had many more "groovy" colors. 😆. How did we get to such a monochrome pallette? Boring!

Freudian Gilt is the single greatest paint color name EVER...

I would pay the extra 395-595 to get a color, Cyber Orange or Alto Blue maybe, but if base models get stuck with black, white, silver, grey I cant see paying for a higher trim level AND still paying for a "special" paint. At that point I'd probably get white and pay someone to wrap it the color i want.

How about some old school two tones using white as a base? Wrap comes 12” and 24” wide. These are based on those two sizes plus some 1” or 2” pin striping tape.

White is the only color.

Easiest to maintain and keep looking clean

White looks filthy just from water spots after a light rain! White is the easiest to find the dirt and remove it, but you'll see every fleck or mud, until you clean it. The only color worse than white, for keeping dirt from showing etc, might be black. Keeping gloss black looking sharp is a part time job.

Wow, actually, I really like that red on white. If colors outside the greyscale are not allowed in the base trim, I would seriously consider getting white just to have it wrapped that way.
