Thanks. 28" high is way more than we need for a Maverick, is it possible to cut them down so they range 21" to 11" ?

The top half slides down over the bottom half, so I don't see why you couldn't chop some off the bottom (and some of the top) if you wanted to in order to make it a bit shorter at the shortest setting. As long as you maintained enough overlap for it to keep its strength.
As it is, it clears the roof and antenna (if you use a stubby antenna) when at the lowest setting. Good for applications where you are carrying something that extends over the cab.
Also want to mention that anything that uses a "t" bolt should work with the Elevate rails. Tons and tons of things could be adapted to attach with a t bolt if they don't already use one already. You can buy whatever thread diameter and pitch t bolts you need on Amazon. Just generic t bolts like any other nut bolt or screw you might need.
Find a rack that uses any sort of bolt attachment and then just go find some t bolts that match the OEM bolt from the rack. Should work.
