Under the hood on the driver side behind the headlights, I noticed two wire harnesses (one black and on green) that are unconnected and just zip tied. Do you guys have these unconnected harnesses? Does anyone know what they are for? Can I use them for anything? I have a 2024 Maverick XL hybrid with just Co-pilot360.

Thanks.

My guess would be accessory slots?
Stuff like fog lights maybe. You'd have to check the amperage rating if they could handle a winch or anything beefy though.

If it's like the MachE, the green connector disconnects 12V power to the battery control module that lives inside the battery pack. This also disables the power used to close the contactors. Therefore disconnecting it should isolate all the high voltage to inside the pack only, none of the wires leading out of the pack can be energized (unless a contactor has stuck closed).

As mentioned the green functions as a lockout for the HV system for servicing.

That other connector is C1026 and labelled simply as 'EVAC and fill' according to the service manual. No reference to it in any of the procedures; possibly used at the factory. Should have three wires going it. The grey-blue and green-orange are HS-CAN Low and High lines respectively. Seems to be absent on yours but on previous MYs there's usually another wire that loops between the male and female halves to act as a retainer for the latter. Theoretically could be utilized for those adding adaptive cruise, perhaps, instead of wiring to the IPMA but would need to verify that it's the right HS-CAN network (there's multiple).

They are safety disconnects for the High Voltage Battery so certain repairs can be done without disconnecting the entire battery.

Those ports are for Q to add gizmos for 007 for the next bond mission . Missles, oil slicks, smoke screens, etc.
