I think you miss understood what I said. I think its a very long lasting product No question as I have seen the tests on youtube of it,. BUT my reason for NOT using it is I have seen enough complaints about it hazing to use something easier even it its not as long lasting as the Adams.
Or have a professional do it correct the first time? It’s expensive sure but like you said if it’s done wrong it’s a waste of time and money and your back to square one.

Haven't had any issues with the exact same Adams Graphene Advanced on mine. It did the rainbow effect, buffed off super easy, and still looks great months later. I waterless wash with their CS3 to touch it up, as it also leaves some graphene/ceramic behind.

That said, I had a HORRIBLE experience with Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Graphene. It left streaks, all over the truck that would not buff out with microfiber cloths. I finally grabbed a non-abrasive cleaner wax, an old can of Liquid Glass, which took the streaks right off.

With Ceramic coatings, and their Graphene is a ceramic coating, the paint needs to be truly clean. I think many of the issues are the dealers don't properly prop the vehicles off the hauler, and there is invisible residue left behind from the protective sheets on the hood. My streaking was 95% on the hood and roof, right where that stuff is usually applied, along with rain spots, visible when wet or at the right angle.

If using a product like that, use the prep spray, or a water spot remover, to thoroughly pre-clean the vehicle, then wipe with alcohol mix or something to remove any remnants of the cleaner.
This is probably true which is why any good company doing ceramics knows the time is in the paint correction. My guys tells me the coating is easy but the time spent on the paint prior is what you pay for when paying 800-$1500 for the service.

Damn, and that's just the spray maintenance coating not even the real ceramic coating in the small bottle that you apply with a suede sponge.

I've heard even the best of the best ceramic coatings only last 1 year tops on shitty paint jobs on newer cars (such as the Ford Maverick). I'll stick with a spray wax wipedown after each wash.

I'll stick with good old car wax Meguires or Turtle wax, I use a small electric applicator, & then cloth to wipe off it's simple. I have tried many of those spray & wipe waxes, they don't bead water after a couple washes & one I tried on a black car, looked great in the garage, in the sun in was a disaster, streaks all over it, I had to rub for nearly an hour to get those off. Friend of mine does detailing at a dealership & gave me some of that 'ceramic' stuff, it shines nice, but it's more work for me to wipe it off than regular wax, & again after a few washes the water didn't bead anymore. Also a bottle of wax is less than $15 & I can apply 2 coats per year for several years, on a couple vehicles.

That may be by people who don’t like them. I have more than one car with personal experience to tell you mine have lasted longer much longer.

I have no idea what I did wrong.. According to Adams, it seemed I was the first person who had a problem. Here is an after picture Of the truck. It looks good now.

It looks great! I almost ordered white but got Carbon Gray. White is perhaps the better choice.
