Exactly, my friend, last time for me as well. Still not convinced I'll receive mine, but it
certainly looks promising now. I would never try this again. Good luck to you!

Relax, it's just an automatic email sent out, as your Maverick was not built during that week. Orders can get pushed back by a few days (probably due to the shutdown in this case), but they will get built once the order tracker shows "In Production".

People complained when they did not hear anything about their orders so Ford decided to send these automated emails every 45 days.
I understand your point about disregarding emails from the manufacturer. Still, as an average consumer, if I wasn't plugged into this website, there is nothing else to me for me to assume. Here Ford' is telling me my truck has again been delayed. Not everyone has time or energy to be on line investigating their purchases, so any normal consumer would certainly have a great concern with the above email.

Since we're on the topic of notification emails and order status, can someone guide me: Ford sent me an email 2 weeks ago saying my order will be built the week of October 16 2023 as a model year 24, with a VIN and order number. When I put the VIN and order number in the tracker nothing happens and when I refresh, it gives me a message "session timed out". I was expecting that because 2 weeks passed since the notification, it would be in the system. Advice? I don't want to sell my '22 EB until I am certain my hybrid is going into production.
I wouldn't even consider selling a bird in hand until the truck is on the lot. Even then, I would be cautious. I've never seen such shady shenanigans from a car manufacturer. Just my thoughts. Good luck

After waiting almost a full year, I received the email above today. My Maverick was scheduled for production on August 21 and I received that email early June. After that, there was no contact, but checking on the order tracker, I saw that the production button had turned green as well as displaying my Vin number and window sticker. Super excited- finally it's going to happen, right?! Then I woke up this morning to the email above. o_OI have no idea what this game is, but I can promise you that, this will be the last time I order from Ford motor company. Abyssmnal way to treat customers. Going from in-production to see you later is genuinely unbelievable
I would guess that the plant is building your truck and there is a lag between them working on it and entering data in time to shut off the automatic generated "we are sorry" email. Of course it's possible a robot could have crushed something which has delayed your build. ????

I just traded my backup hybrid XLT with hitch & inverter I got in Feb 2023 in on my Tremor that came in Aug 24, 2023. I parked it in my garage, started it periodically, and drove it a few miles every two weeks. Had 233 miles on it when my Tremor finally showed up! BIRD roosted for just over six months!!!

Ford is lying somewhere I have seen numerous f150 lightnings and Mach e mustangs there is no way they are having this much trouble making mavericks
You don't have a clue, do you. Maybe because they have 2 large plants making F150s instead of a small plant making Mavericks and Bronco Sports. Because for the hybrids there is an international shortage of batteries. Maybe because it is the most over-ordered vehicle this decade.

I got that email earlier this week. Yesterday it showed BUILT on the tracker.

RE: "Bird in the hand..." - I gave what you wrote a lot of thought today. Then I started connecting the dots regarding my small dealer having 13 Mav's on their lot of which 11 are hybrids. Got me thinking that even though my dealer said he would sell a special order at MSRP, [no written committment and no deposit from me] maybe he has another trick which turns buyers off and they walk away from their special order? I would be up schitt's creek without a truck for an extended period so thanks for making me hit the pause button. I will wait to sell my very much loved Lariat 2.0 EB until I have nailed down the purchase details on my Lariat hybrid with my stealership.

I’m sorry that you have to hold on to your 2022 Maverick until your ā€˜24 comes in, especially considering how many folks haven’t even received their first Maverick. It must be tough.

Sorry. I replied to the wrong message and I haven’t figured out how to delete this…
