Anyone have experience with the weathertech mudflaps? When I ordered my Mav I had the Ford ones on it but had to take them off to get the truck built. The Roc Blox to me just look to big. Wondering how whe wethertechs are.

They include precut paint protection, but it didn't cover the entire portion of where the mud flap contacts the paint. It's too early to tell whether or not they'll damage the paint. Size wise, they look nice and are similar to OEM.

The Weathertech mud flaps we sold always had full tire coverage and the molded shape fit the wheel opening very well.

Weather Tech ones very similar to OEM from Ford. Weather Tech of course will NOT have "FORD" on them. The word "FORD" is NOT highlighted on the OEM ones and you can hardly see "FORD". Weather Tech just recently came out with the splash guards for the Maverick. I haven't heard how they are working out. Weather Tech does make quality products, at least the items I have purchased I have been very happy with. Sometimes they tend to be a little more expensive, but they are USA made and are quality. I personally purchased the OEM ones from Ford Accessories. Only took a week to get them. To sum up, you can't go wrong with either one. However . . . the OEM ones have been causing issues to the paint as described elsewhere on this forum. Unknown IF Weather Tech has same issue or not. Issue can be resolved by placing paint protection film PPF on body edges where splash guards touch the painted surface.

That's for sure. My original order had both the splash guards and all weather floor mats. Because it has taken so long to get my order into production I dropped the splash guards, floor mats and spray-in bed liner. I received my splash guards after only a week and the floor mats after two weeks. Same question here: "Why can't the factory get these items but Ford Accessories can get them?" By the way, still waiting for my Maverick after 452 days as of 1-3-23. I do have a production date of 1-10-23 however. All extras dropped except 360 packages.

If I'm able to later tonight, I'll try and take some pictures of them, but from my installation, there wasn't sufficient PPF to prevent the same marks as caused by the OEM ones. Of course it could be perfectly fine, it's too early to tell.

I ordered a 22 xlt eco and I didn't get built and I'm pritty sure it's because I had the mud flaps on the order,, so when I had the reorder for the 23 I had them take the mud flaps off the order.. And I got scheduled pritty quick for the 23.. Was built in the beginning of Jan it came off the line on Jan 13 and shipped out of the plant on the 14th the next day and shipping took about 3 weeks arrived at dealership on Feb 6th with 6miles on it.. Picked it up on the 10th with 30 miles in it(had them take it to get a sprayed in bedliner and got the 2 front windows tinted)
I just got the weather tech flaps for a Christmas present.. And just put them on last weekend.. Here are some pics. trucks dirty lol was going today to get it washed but just found out we are getting 6-10 inches of snow starting tomorrow into Wednesday.. No point in washing it now.. Lol

Great Pics. On my 22 I ordered in Dec of 21 I took the mudflaps off and was scheduled 2 weeks later. Got the truck Nov 22 I can understand chip battery constraints, but not for a plastic part any molding shop could make.

Ya I kept telling my wife I was going to call the dearship and drop the mud flaps cuz they were so constanted..she just kept say " just be patient it will eventually get built"... I wanted the truck cuz I knew if it took to long I'd have to sink money into my other truck cuz I needed new tires bad.. And then when waiting I ended up having to put in a new heater blower motor and a new alternator. When I sold out the he truck a guy from work wanted it for his kid.. ( kinda nice I drove it to work signed over the title and then my wife took me from work to get the new truck same day) she wanted me to up the sale price for the tires and the other stuff and.. Had to tell her baby it doesn't work like that all the time.. so she wasn't happy with the sale price for me it was all about the convenience factor of selling it and it was still three times more than the dealership would have gave me for it

Yeah I the convience is worth it. I used to put ads on Craigslist list saying x price is firm. Guy would come out and offered me pennies. Don't need that crap. I traded in an F150 prob could have gotten a better price but not worth the bs.
