i don't have this issue at all - 2023 maverick tremor - the seals have vent holes punched in from the factory on the bottom of the rubber lining to let water out....

In southern cal we don’t get much rain , but what little we did seems to puddle inside rear doors , unless you open them to allow the drains to not seal against the weatherstripping . Not a huge problem here ,but the rust belt people will need to regularly rinse and open rear doors for a little drainage now and then .
in other words this water didn’t come dripping out of the drain holes until rear doors were held open for a few minutes.

My 2017 F250 has the same issue. Gets a swampy stink sometimes, too.

i just leave my doors open when im not driving it so i should be good
