I got my new 2024 Maverick XLT hybrid and really love it but I have this issue with rain drainage. If I park my car at a tilt and open the door after it has rained hard or is still raining the rain water gets on the seal on top of the door and pours fast and directly into the truck, it has never been an issue with any other vehicle I have owned, has anyone noticed this?

If you've got a sunroof and park in an area with a lot of leaves/trees/stuff that falls on it... you might poke a coathanger into the drain hole.

It's a problem i've had and friends have had with sunroofs in the past and a bit of an annoyance but once you know about it it's an easy fix usually.

If that's not it though good luck

I get drips inside from the rear door when opening on my driveway after a rain. Seems to be due to the common weather strip between doors. I haven't look to see if it could be helped at all yet, maybe minimized with a little piece of adhesive foam weather-strip or something.

I don't know if this is the same issue from another post, but someone said to OPEN THE DOOR SLIGHTLY and hold it there for a few seconds. I do it, and MOST of the time it works.

Have somewhat noticed this on rear left door. haven't checked the others. "Doc, it hurts when I do this." So I don't do it.
