I'm in the Altamonte Springs area (just north of Orlando) and never lost power and minimal tree debris. We are high up though. Just five minutes up the road, there is a neighborhood that abuts a river that staged up 7 feet and all the houses on that street are under water.

Kinda late but found this low watt (500) tiny kitchen set that includes a 4 cup coffee. 1000w pure sine wave inverter are far cheaper than the next steps to higher wattage.

There is a bunch of these look alike that run well under 400w so would work with factory installed inverter option.
Like the steamer basket and looks short enough to store under back seats.
Target store has a nicer ricer version for 5 dollars more, similar wattage.
I use rice cookers ( got a tiny 12v version). For camping due to multi use ability. Can boil water, and be used as slow cooker with keep warm settings. Also keep warm setting is great for rehydrate those expensive dried package backpacker meals for best texture and flavors finished with 5 minutes on high heat. Also really good with beans.
