IMHO on-screen knobs and buttons for commonly used controls are dangerous, requiring you to take your eyes off the road instead on feeling for the knob. They're just cheaper to manufacture, not better in any way.

Yeah, the lack of physical controls is a step back in my opinion.
Totally agree. I love the larger infotainment screen in the 2025 Mavs, but I don't know if I could give up the physical knobs and buttons in my 2023 Mav.
