Oh and I still love my truck! Until my brother rolls up in his. But then we compare gas bills and I win!!!!!

Hey I just wanted to thank those who post on here. You saved me a lot of money. My 22 Hybrid Maverick with 20k miles began so shake. Took it to the dealership as I had some recalls to get completed as well. So they called me and said the shaking was caused by the tires as far as they could tell. Recommended new tires. I said , they only have 20k on them. They replied well they had slight "feathering". I said I would get back to them. Went straight to the forum and found my answer. Problem reported by many owners with the CV axles. Took some screen shots of others reports. Sent to my service mgr. He replied he would look into it further. Call later that afternoon. Yep, that seems to be the problem. On order and will be repaired under warranty. SO THANK YOU VERY MUCH POSTERS!!!

Will bigger tires and rims void the warranty? I'm having the same issue with 22 hybrid maverick wit on 35000 miles.

Hey, Nick. Could you please send us a PM with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer? I'd be happy to see how I can assist you with this vibration concern.

Wanted to jump in here and say that I am having the same exact problem.
Except my local Ford dealer kept the truck for 10 hours, never called me when it was done. I called and was told to rush there because they were getting ready to close.

Then told me that they did some open recalls, rotated and balanced the tires and tried demanding $100. For work I never authorized. So that wasn't paid. They swore that the problem is "often fixed by balancing the tires". Clearly the service advisor didn't listen when I explained the issue happened when the engine was under load/accelerating only above 50 mph.

Get in the truck, same issue occurs. There is NO way that the tech drove this thing after the alignment and said "yeah it's fine".

Is the truck even safe to drive with this issue? I am disgusted at how my local Ford dealer handled my situation. Called corporate and was told "wait till Monday and call their service manager".

Please tell the service department that it is the CV axles. Tell them to look at their service bulletins.

Unfortunately I did tell them that. Clearly this specific dealership didn't even listen to me. I'll be trying another dealership next week...

I have a 2023 Maverick hybrid with approximately 23,000 miles on it.
About six months ago I began to notice a slight vibration in the front right wheel when I accelerated while making a left-hand turn.
The vibration seems to be getting stronger and now it is occurring in both front wheels as I accelerate in a straight direction. As I reach the desired speed and stop accelerating the vibration seems to dampen out and stop vibrating. Has anyone else noticed something similar in their Maverick Hybrid?
I'm experiencing the same thing in my 2022 XLT AWD Ecoboost. I have just over 22K on it. Thought the tires might need balancing. Took it to a tire dealer and they said all the tires were defective. After I had the new tires on it it seemed better for about 20 miles than it got worse. Don't think they were trying to rip me off with the tires as I had some issues with the tires. But yeah guessing the Right front CV joint is biting the dust. Could be more than that. Problem is that it takes 3 weeks now to get an appointment at my dealer. Horrendous. Does it take everyone else that long or is it that my dealer doesn't have the people or facilities to do repairs in a timely manner? Thinking I will be saying goodbye to my Maverick after I get the repairs done. Never had any axle issues on previous cars until I hit like the 90k mark if even then. Had cars over 100k and never had to replace an axle. just 22k is unacceptable.

Well another one bites the dust. Have the shake issue and go to the dealer, two hours later they confirm it is the axles. I asked about driving and they say ok keep on motoring. How the heck is it ok…. The shaking is bad. I am afraid it will cause more damage! Dealer said the have no idea how long before the parts will arrive! Parts are on back order and not sure when they will get them! I asked if it is the same item because it will just do it again… no answer! I think Ford has done a terrible job and nothing has been sent out to warn you about a possibility of this problem. I believe it is time to get in touch with NHTSA and file a complaint! Still have two outstanding recalls with no fixes neither. I really think the dealer should give me a loaner until they can repair it! Losing faith everyday in Ford Products!

How are you getting around with your truck sitting at the dealer?
