With the FX4 package, I read on a post that you can use slippery mode to closely mimic the Eco mode as far as lower gearing. Does this hold true and would the slippery mode cause damage using on dry pavement? The only modes that the Manual say not to use on dry surfaces is sand and mud/ruts.

Not a good idea.

Checkout the FORScan part of the forum for how to get access to all 7 modes on the Maverick.

That’s what I figured. Thank you.

I dont think there would be any harm, but probably not worth the effort. Practice some basic/safe hyper miling techniques and drive a little slower and you’ll get the same results.

Braking in slippery mode is relatively awful on dry pavement. Wouldn't recommend.

Slippery mode reduces the rate of Regen braking resulting in coasting further when you take foot off accelerator.
