So my XL is ready for pickup today and my salesman mentioned that I have a $750 private offer, but it's incompatible with the $500 farm bureau certificate. I wonder if this is actually the price protection for my November order. My XL didn't have anything whose price went up in early spring, but the recent price increases must have increased the cost of the XL EB AWD by $750.
Salesman says she sees no difference between my November order and the window sticker (was built 6/15 so before latest price increase), so she says it's extra. I doubt Ford is feeling generous unless there is something about being a frequent customer. What could this $750 be?

Others have mentioned they got the same private offer. I do believe that it is due to being a repeat Ford customer.

Could be wildly off base but my layman's understanding for '22 models is that you can either go with price protection (keyed to date of order) OR with any incentives/offers available upon date of sale. But any current incentives are not applicable or transferable to price protection.

Farm Bureau is not compatible with many rebates.

$750 private offer was in fact a customer loyalty discount, came right off the bottom line, of course couldn't be stacked with Farm Credit $500 certificate. Truck picked up this evening at original MSRP quote. No pressure for options, other than yes/no question by business manager. Academy Ford in Laurel, MD made purchase quick and easy.
