I will say they most likely got it from the other dealer for MSRP it had to pay to have them shipped to their dealer, which can get expensive depending on how far away the other dealership is. so there may not be as much markup in the $1500 than you think. at MSRP the dealer only makes about $500 off of the sale.

I will also say a lot of people have backed out on purchasing once the vehicle arrives so we are seeing more stock popping up on dealers lots. for example we have 64 Mavericks currently in stock and all of those were because they were backed out on. the XLT and lariat are back out on more often than XL making XL harder to find.
How much would you sell a XLT 2.0 eco FX4 in Azure Grey?

I took delivery on my 2024 XLT Hybrid yesterday. I've been reading a lot about Maverick wait times, order process, etc., so I wonder if my purchase is unusual or just normal these days.

I've been looking to replace my 2010 Camry for a month, or so and I was pretty set on a new Corolla AWD Hybrid SE. Last Sunday I was just doing a little more research on hybrid models available and "discovered" the Maverick. I checked local stock here in northern New England and saw that the small dealership in my town had 3 on the lot. I called Monday and was told they really were not on the lot, but in transit from a larger dealership in Massachusetts. I arranged a test drive on Tuesday, decided to buy on Wednesday, and had it in my driveway Wednesday afternoon.

I took delivery from stock and it's an XLT with only floor mats as an option. I've read so much over the past 3 days about the scarcity of the Mavs that I wonder if I just got lucky, or if the hype about 9 month waiting periods is only for folks who want custom features from a Ford on-line build.

In any case, the first 30 miles has been all rainbows and unicorns. I welcome myself to this group. :)
Mine was a lot lizard too. Nothing but rainbows and unicorns for 1600 miles!

It has gotten way better on ordering to delivery time. We ordered 2 in late January. 1 from Granger, 1 Hillsboro NH. Both are Hybrid XLT w Lux. We have build dates for both. Order to build date for Granger is 53 days, Hillsboro 76 days. Hillsboro had no allocations, I was 3rd in line. With a priority code if 80.
Currently, I think it is a lot more about not ordering constrained options and not being an XL. That and making sure your dealer doesn't have 30 orders in front of you. Of course make sure they also sell MSRP or lower and no stupid add ons.
Have you taken delivery of either? Build date and actually taking delivery are two different dates. Mine was Built in 45 days and then it sat .... waiting for rail. Then in a lot in AZ for weeks. Then in mass for weeks. It killed me .lol. don't have any hopes on how fast it gets to NH. Every order I've made sits somewhere. My order from flat rock took 4 weeks to arrive. I could have drove there and back in 30hrs. But in thevendvits worth the wait. You'll love it

I'm afraid that I will not be able to take your comment seriously until you change that god-awful avatar logo. Go Jackets! :)
Well, I do like Tech sometimes, but rarely!

I am in southwest NH. Near Keene. I am curious what you paid for it? MSRP? Before I ordered in January I searched all of New England and eastern NY. The only places that had them available seemed to be marking up $2, $3 and as high as $8000 over MSRP.
The dealers all were happy to take orders until you asked about allocations. None had them.
A lot of NH people in this thread. I bought my Mav (XL, 4k tow, HPR) off the lot from Grappone in Bow, NH at MSRP about a month ago. They do have an XLT on the lot at MSRP but it has pretty unusual options. They were marking up previously but the tide is starting to turn.

I got pretty lucky. I was trying to wait out until Spring/Summer but my 2001 S10 failed inspection hard in Feb. I thought I was going to have to pay MSRP for a used XLT at Grappone because that was the only Mav in the area that was actually available for a reasonable amount. Went to their website only to learn that it had sold but they had pretty much exactly what I wanted except for the color at MSRP.

Builds are the weeks of March 18 & April 8. Even if they sit 2 months, its still a hell of a lot quicker than people who waited 1½ years. Or the 130 days you asked if anyone was faster. I was just pointing out how much things are changing for the better.

Congrats on yours! Still waiting on mine. Both of mine will be building soon. Thats a long story. Not sure which I will take!
The FX4 said it was an incentive at $800 off MSRP. Then I also have A plan through a relative and that took another $1200 off. So in the end I got it for $2000 off of MSRP. Here in WI I have never seen a Ford dealer charge more than MSRP for any car.. Hard to believe other states let them get away with that.

Original MSRP was $32,800 with the stuff it had on it.

This is true. The big drought with the new and used car market is going away. You might even find what you're looking for on the lot somewhere now. I know Salem ford has a couple xlt hybrids without markup. I talked to my friend at Best and he said they are starting to negotiate no mark up. With any luck you could be driving one this weekend. Good luck

Hey all you folks that have recently acquired a Maverick (including @TEI1997, @IHateSpeedbumps , @dlhort1955, @ianjay , @sapperforward, @RG Mav & @Leuf). Congratulations on getting your Mavericks!

Now that you have it, perhaps one of the first mods is to add a Maverick Truck Club decal so you can properly “represent.”

Two styles/sizes available:

Maverick Truck Club Decal (Glossy) | MaverickTruckClub - 2022+ Ford Maverick Pickup Forum, News, Owners, Discussions ($5 delivered)

Maverick Truck Club Decal (Transfer) | MaverickTruckClub - 2022+ Ford Maverick Pickup Forum, News, Owners, Discussions ($6 delivered)

I've been waiting over 530 days for my Maverick hybrid XLT with the luxury package. It makes me wonder if Ford is really prioritizing their orders

It took me from 10/21/21 to 1/26/23 for me to get my hybrid, so things have gotten a lot better. That was only with the lux package. Nothing unusual.
