So I received a message in my 24 tremor yesterday that said, push clutch to start. The issues are I didn't know they made these in a manual(j/k) And I was already driving. Has anybody else ran into this problem?

Totally aware of what it's supposed to say. That's why I was completely confused that I got the message while driving and that they don't have a clutch.. I figured it was some kind of software glitch. We get them All the time in the mustangsIt should say "Push brake to start". Are you up for a eye check perchance?![]()
Nope this has happened for other people. These BCMs are programmed to work with a variety of models to include overseas products that do offer a manual. It's kinda scary that the programming logic of the BCM can get so wonky that it doesn't even know what it's programmed (via as built data) to display but nothing really surprises me with Ford these days.It should say "Push brake to start". Are you up for a eye check perchance?![]()
Glad to see i'm not the only one@Mavtremor24 see this thread which also links to another "Push Clutch to Start" thread.
Hah! It must be software out of the ORIGINAL Maverick. I didn't realize that they had software back then.So I received a message in my 24 tremor yesterday that said, push clutch to start.
