So in my haste the other night to rip off all the underbody splash guards and wheel well liners to get my brand new truck ready for it's Fluid Filming appointment the next morning, I have acquired a pile of various pins, screws and nuts that, of course, I can't remember exactly where they go.

As I was doing this, I said, "Now Austin, how are you going to remember where each one of these go?"

"Shut up, conscience, you'll figure it out."

Spoiler: I did not figure it out.

Though, in my defense, I probably could if I spent enough time playing trial and error, and accepting that I'd end up with some left over hardware. I decided to get on here and ask instead of crawling on the concrete floor getting Black Fluid Film all over me as I figure it out.

All that being said, does anyone know where I can find a diagram for the various panels and the wheel liners for a 2025 Hybrid AWD? The nuts and wide face barbed pins are pretty self explanatory, but there are 3 sizes of push pins and and a few different screws that I'd hate to mix them up only to have to sort out which ones I put in the wrong spot as I near the end

Thanks for your help.

A month ago I got out the ramps, grabbed my can of Blaster Surface Shield, crawled underneath and saw the underbody shields and said to myself "looks like too much work". From what you see, will the shields adequately protect things, and is there a lot that would benefit from the spray?

I think there is a lot to benefit from the spray, especially if you remove all the panels. These guys sprayed clear up inside the bed for me and in all the little cubby holes and rails. I will tell you though, it makes an absolute mess and my future self is already cursing at me when I have to work on it and come out covered in black goo.

Yeah, the Blaster is messy too. I didn't go that crazy with it, I just hit the exposed areas where the salt is most likely to get to. If you haven't done the shield to cover the opening behind the left rear wheel you may want to consider it.

Yup, got those sitting in a box ready to go on, along with a bunch of other crap.

My Maverick is replacing my 18yo 2007 Colorado that I'm trying to sell. Every potential buyer asks, "Does it have any rust?". Bruh, it's been through 17 Ohio winters. I'd be shocked if it didn't. So, I'm trying to get ahead of that with this new truck.

I took the remains of my can of Blaster and went under our 8 year old Grand Cherokee which has been heavily used in Minnesota winters and was surprised at how little corrosion had started. One of the skid plates was looking rough, but I am hoping the Mav will be looking as good at that age.
Watch a YouTube video before you do the cavity cover, it is a bit confusing on where the mounting brackets go, once you figure it out the rest is easy. You will need a breaker bar for the frame bolts, they are really in there!

Go look up replacement parts for liners and such - the usually show the screws or pins and locations.

I haven't used a Ford parts website yet, but typically most vehicle parts sellers have the factory exploded parts diagrams of components and those include fasteners.

Otherwise, the fasteners that fit the holes are the right ones for each spot:
Open hole, it's a push pin.
Threaded, it's a bolt.
If the one you tried doesn't fit, use another one that does.

As long as everything is buttoned up securely, it doesn't really matter.
It's not like hardware for engine internals.

It’s rare I disassembled anything without taking multi photos with my phone and number things use freezer tape to avoid this but I’m old and since it’s likely a significant amount of time will pass between taking it apart and putting it back together…

As do I, but the problem is all the expanding push-pins look the same from the outside. It's the length that's different.
