Under Tailgate LED Lightbar

I have been planning on a 2 or 3 row LED lighbar that mounts under the tailgate to increase visibility. Brand is not important but i have come across a good selection by OPT7 such as the one in the link....

I want a plug n play harness to avoid any solicing. Opt7 has one for the Maverick at a reasonable price.

BUT i have an XLT Hybrid 2025. It states it will not work with a hybrid. I have found several other companies with similar harbesses that look like they shouldcwork but documentation indicates rheycas well will not work with a hybrid.

Does anybody know why this is or where i can find one thatvwill work? Thx

I used the Curt 56477 on my 2022 Lariat Hybrid. I was lazy and just used the in bed 12v wiring instead of running to the battery. Tied the reverse light into the corresponding wiring on the Curt and done. No factory wiring touched. and no complaints thus far after 3 years:

I second what @dennish said above. I have a MY24 Hybrid Lariat that I installed a rear light bar on using the Curt 56477. Why they say it won't work on a hybrid is beyond me. The OPT7 will work on a hybrid. I have had it on my 24 Lariat Hybrid since November and even though it says not for hybrid it works. However I tried several of the dual lines ones trying to get some amber and they either did not work or it caused issues with my taillights not working. The only one I have found to work without issue is the nilight all red stick and is currently installed and works great! It has capability to have white when in reverse, but I did not wire that part up.

Sounds like you've tried it. Any chance you took pictures to show the difference?

Sorry I did not. I tried connecting per instructions but the only one connectors would fit but it was from the wrong side. (right taillight connector only fit left side)
