Two types of the Falken Wildpeak AT Trails

This may not be news to some so sorry for being redundant. I knew there were two load ratings for the tire. 104H and 108H. Apparently what I did not know is the fact that the 104H is NOT severe snow service rated. Only the 108H is. The tire store salesman did not know this either so my order needed to be returned and the 108H's ordered. The tire store says it was their screw up and they are eating the extra cost. I should have known better too but I've got a great excuse. I am old.

Of course anyone not living in snow country and not worried about that could save 100 bucks going with the 104H.

Kinda interesting too because my coworker has a RAV4 hybrid with the severe snow service rated Falkens and that stiffer sidewall would seem to me kinda punishing for a vehicle like that. (Don't doubt he needs the 3PSF rated ones, he loves to use it to find trail heads for hiking and mountain biking 12 months a year.)

Yeah, that's not good. AI says it is an average tire at best, while the 108H is rated exceptional.
