I have enabled Traffic Sign Recognition, now my wife really hates it due to school zones alway show 20 mph even when it it not during effective hours. (I think she is overreacting but hey she is my wife). Is there a fix for this other than disabling TSR?

Is there a way to set my home wifi as default wifi? We have chosen not to use the truck wifi as we did not want a monthly fee. The only reason to use wifi is for truck update.

Now the comment. I have learned a lot from this forum that had made me an informed buyer of my Maverick. I have experienced not finding threads for my searches. I understand that new threads on the same things over and over can be annoying. IMHO the nasty responses are off putting. Posting the link to the most relevant thread would make this forum just a little better. I do realize I will get some negativity for this thread. So however you respond is up to you.

I have not taken the personal Wi-Fi option either. I just use my cel phone to access data use Internet as I have unlimited data on my phone plan. You ride in my car you need to use your own plan. The truck uses the Ford data plan which Ford pays for. Ford even stopped installing WiFi on some of trucks.

If you're referring to the Wi-Fi hotspot feature on older Mavericks (no longer available on new builds); whether you subscribe to the hotspot service or not has nothing to do with using home (or other) internet to download & install updates. Just make sure auto-updates and Wi-Fi are enabled in your truck's Infotainment system settings. Upon first use, you'll initially be prompted to sign in to your home Wi-Fi internet connection and the login can be saved.

+1 for “…search feature not helpful…”, but I figure the bots will fix that minor deficiency and direct all future submittals to exactly where they should go, for our betterment.
