We have two Mavericks, a 2023 XL hybrid, and recently added a 2022 XLT ecoboost. When they are parked side by side, I swear the 2023 XL hybrid sits higher. The difference is especially noticeable in the rear. Does anyone know if there’s a height difference between 2022 and 2023?

I have a 24 hybrid and a 25 hybrid AWD. I have observed the same. The front is the same height but the rear on the 24 is noticable higher. The front suspension is identical so the difference must be due to the AWD rear suspension sitting lower.

Why don't you just measure them and put the issue to bed? LBC is right in his observation that the different rear suspension type is the most logical explanation for the rear differences.

Can you take a picture side by side with your phone and post it here? Please

I’ll have to measure properly when the current ice/snow storms have passed. There’s a buildup on the pavement at the moment and the measurement wouldn’t be accurate.

I measured from the ground, and sure enough, the hybrid is about two inches higher from the top of the tailgate to the ground than the AWD ecoboost

Well there's no RWD and less weight on the Hybrid. Makes sense. You can put slightly more payload in your hybrid because of this.

A height difference is interesting. Between myself and my two neices we have three Lariat hybrids, 22, 24 and, 25 (AWD). We'll have to get pics this summer when we're all together. BTW the neice with the 22 has in laws who have the 23 missing from the group.
