I've done 2 recalls and 1 TSB in 15 months. Two of those during oil changes and one mobile service. One more recall outstanding, but I didn't return their call this time. My policy now is to wait for the next oil change. Could be 3-4 months 'till then.
The 23C41 is the tailight recall. The 24C01 is the Cluster recall. The recall that appears to be the problem is the 23P18 PCM (power control module) recall. This recall causes the massive shut-off of the truck (according to posts made in here).
Same here. Never take the truck in early but merely wait until I take it in for service and for them to look it over. Doesn't seem to bother the truck not having the recalls done quickly.
I had the recalls done on Thursday this past week. Prior to the recall I had done the TSR recognition in Forscan. After the recalls I still have the TSR active in my truck so the recall work didn't change it back. weird thing it did to was alter my MTE on the dash. before the recall it said I had like 446 miles to empty. after the recall it said it was 261 MTE. its slowly climbing back up to where it should be, now at 338MTE but still weird.I've only gotten 23C41 in the mail - and have not taken it it due to 1. my turn signals are working, 2. all the fix will do is make them blink faster to let me know one of the bulbs is out and 3. I've used forscan to customize my truck and i don't want them to wipe my work, since I don't exactly remember all that I've changed
