Turning rear camera on while driving. Anyone?

Anyone figure out a way to be able to use the rear facing camera while driving to check trailer load? I would pay good money for the option to be able to use the camera while going down the road to check the trailer load.

I believe you will need to go after market radio. There are third party ones that can activate the rear camera while driving, but don't think a native Ford option exists. Someone correct me if wrong.

Unless it has changed there Is 1 conductor on the display harness that activates the cam via a positive voltage input. An on/off switch with the correct voltage might getcha what you want. IF it is the same on the Mav

There's not an easy way and it's very easy to use a rear view mirror integrated dashcam. Plus you have a dashcam.

The forscan options for rear view are only useful for older cars that lack a rear camera but other trim levels had it. You could install a camera and enable it. Nothing that would help with this.

is there a rearview integrated dashcam you recommend or have used?? thanks!

Anything changes in 2024. Seems crazy to have a camera there that I can't use to take a peak and see how the tow is doing (especially with the towing package!)
