TSR with FX4 6.5" screen?

Just double checking before I dive in. This is the last Forscan tweak I'm wanting to do, for now anyway.

Like the title asks, has anyone successfully programmed Forscan for TSR on a FX4 6.5" screen? I was reading where some were getting errors like round signs, etc., etc.

Step-by-step instructions would be much appreciated.

Are round signs really an "error"? I followed the tutorial that gave me the round signs. Yes, they do look European but that didn't bother me enough to try a different method to get the rectangular signs.

Not really an error but I'd sure rather have the square signs displayed. Think I just found the setting in the Ultimate Forscan Spreadsheet! I'll give it a try.

Try leaving Traffic Sign Recognition disabled on the instrument cluster and set to SLIF just on the imaging module. The TSR options should still be available on the IC and enable the functionality with square signs.

OK, I messed around with a few settings and got it more to my liking. White, square speed limit sign on the left side, my actual digital speed on the right. The SL sign flashes to scold me when I'm exceeding the speed by more than my set 5 mph over limit, which is easy to do on these country roads.

Would you mind posting specific instructions to accomplish this?

I have a 2023 FX4 Luxury and I've got the OBD cable and forscan license I've just never attempted this.

I'm looking to add all the drive modes, TSR, and Eco Coach.

You might as well also do Lane Keep Assist while you're at it!

Good advice! I had my FORSCAN subscription and the cord for nearly 6 months before I finally decided to take the jump. I did much like TrailMaster and also followed threads by ERON24, who has shared alot of knowledge on the subject.

From the Ultimate Forscan Spreadsheet. Double check the IPC settings as shown. I'm pretty sure fiddling with enabling/disabling that did it for me. I just don't remember which setting gave me the square speed limit sign.

Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) Enable	IPC	(EZ) Enable OR Disable "Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR)"				DISABLE on 4in Cluster, ENABLE on 6.5in Cluster, Try Both
IPC	(EZ) Enable "Speed Limit Info Function (SLIF)"				Disable = European Signs, Enable = USA Signs (4in ONLY)
IPMA	(EZ) Change "TSR" to "Speed Limit Info Function (SLIF)"
IPMA	(EZ) Change "Traffic Sign Recognition Mode" to Camera Data Only"
TSR MAY DELAY OR INTERFERE WITH PRE COLLISION ASSIST WARNING ON 4 INCH CLUSTERS

Try enabling the IPC SLIF for the hell of it. I know it says 4.5" screens only but (save config first) and give it a try.
