Had a weird freak issue today with my truck. I was driving around for about an hour this morning to run a few errands. On my way home I was going down the road about 40 mph and all of the sudden the vehicle seemed to stall out. I was pressing on the gas and it was just making a noise like it was stuck or something. Pulled over into the break down lane, shut the truck off and started it back up again. Everything was working fine again like normal. I didn't see any warning lights come on the dash either. This is the first issue I've had since I got my truck back in August. Has anyone else experienced this? Seems a little concerning. Please advise

I have not experienced anything like that in 6,600 miles in my Tremor. That would concern me.

That could be a bubble of water in bad fuel, or it could be a sign that the pressure sensor for the high pressure fuel rail is faulty. Is the fuel from a reputable high-volume pump dispensing TopTier gas as required by the fuel specs, or is it from an ancient farm stash from a 50gal drum? If it happens again, take it in. It will have thrown a temporary code, but it will only be there until you restarted it. If it is the sensor, then it will eventually throw a permanent code.

Thanks, I'll check that out with the pressure sensor. I use top quality gas so it's most likely the sensor

Keep us posted. Either way doesn't sound like a Tremor specific issue. Out of curiosity you don't have a tuner or have done anything with the intake? Also worth taking a peek that rodents didn't fill your filter housing with cat food. Seen that a few times.

Do you have a scan tester to review the history? The incident would be recorded. The vehicle may even record a code with out a warning on you instrument cluster. At least you would have some idea of what happened. Have the dealer do it if your not mechanically inclined. And do it soon. You don't want to break down on the road.

I don't have a scanner. I'll have to take it to the dealership to see if they can find out what happened unfortunately

the dealer probably charge you for scan, a parts store will likely do it for free.

Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? I can look into things on my end.

The dealership checked it on their end and I also looked on Fordpass app. Says everything is fine. No codes have been detected. I'm hoping it doesn't happen again.
