Has anyone done a 1 inch front leveling kit on a Tremor?
If so did you use the same kit for a regular Maverick, like the Rough country kit or a specific kit for a Tremor?
If you used the rough country or any other kit, did you have to grind off the lip on the strut?

I don't remember any threads about that but definitely reach out to rough country via email, I'm sure they can set you up quick

It comes with a "level" 0.8inch lift spring. A levelling kit is a gateway drug to this:

I reached out to RC and they said the Tremor still needs to grind the front strut so I'm going to pass installing this kit. Thanks for the suggestion.

The Tremor does not come leveled. It's raised 1" all around. The Tremor still has a raked like stance.
Actually it's raised in the front 1-inch and approx 1/2-inch at the rear. Based on verified measurements versus an FX4.

The Tremor does not come leveled. It's raised 1" all around. The Tremor still has a raked like stance. Still a little lower on the front. I have the 1" lift for it to level it out however I'm still deciding how much of an impact it will have on the CV joints. I'm still searching for the specs on the tremor front axles but can't find much information and what type of upgrades they've done to them. I have some logical theories on that but no facts. Lot of confusing info out there. I can see that the end of the strut is close to the axle boot . Why does rough country or any other vendor tell you to grind the end of the strut down on their one inch lift kit for the XLT whereas my Tremor comes with a 1 inch lift all around with basically the same components but the end of the strut still has the extended metal tab at the end of it. ?? I have looked at other XLTs non Tremor and can't observe too much of a difference. I guess if I decide to put the lift on I will find out. 😊

Thats exactly what I'm talking about as well. Please post on here if you do a leveling kit.

Regardless of the specifications that Ford gives I've measured a few and they varied however my point was that the vehicle was not leveled as another member has stated. And by the way you are the individual that does videos? If so you do a fine job of it.

Your not the only one. One note on the striping. The top stripe will fade almost to a yellowish gold color. Especially if the truck is exposed to the sun a lot and not garaged. I applied striping tape. I haven't found good quality striping yet that won't fade still looking. Or you can have it painted on. And we will have stripes coast to coast. :giggle:

Not trolling, but a legitimate question - what's the purpose of leveling? Is it esthetics, capability, efficiency, other?

The concept of leveling a truck is new to me. Esthetically I prefer a little rake but wondering what I may be trading off...

Had to laugh at that photo. Have seen many lifted lowered cars and trucks. Slammed lowriders. But that Carolina squat. Has to be the worse.

I would be okay if that was done for posing with hydraulics and you could drive it level-ish. But sadly thats just not how they roll. Or drag I guess. Ooooohh lets call their trucks Drag Queens and see if they stop doing it?

Agree with the hydraulics. Not sure how you can even see.
