bought the Schrader tpms sensors from rock auto for my new F1R wheels & after installation of the tires/wheels last week, got a tpms fault on the way home :(
took it to the dealership to make sure the sensors and everything were working & although they could get them programmed, they couldn't get them to "train" to the truck...looks like I'll be dealing with a tpms fault warning from now on (legally, they couldn't turn off the warning thanks, in part, to CA law that our state has adapted regarding disabling safety warning lights)....kinda bummed, but I absolutely love the tires & wheels & the warning light is really just a minor nuisance & I sure don't want to go back to stock wheels & tires.

apparently, the schrader 33610 sensors are NOT compatible with my truck: new sensors being installed as I type this

guess I’ll try to sell the (4) 33610’s I have 🤷🏻‍♂️

Did they disconnect the battery, then reconnect and train again? I got chinesium sensors off of Amazon and the truck picked them up without having to train. In your case the training tool is like $10 on eBay, I can recommend getting one and leaving it in the glovebox.

not sure what the issue is, really: they could get the sensors to program & they "chirped" during the programming process, but they won't train to the truck.....they claim it's because my valve stems are the bolt-in style & "ford OEM sensors" won't work with those stems (I find it funny that the sensors I bough from rock auto are basically the same as the OEM and the valve stems, also schrader, are compatible with the sensors.

I seem to recall a thread where someone was having issues with their sensors & the installation tech neglected to remove a screw from the back side of the sensor? perhaps I need to get this checked out

So you watch them do a process where the truck honks as they move around the truck clockwise from wheel to wheel?
With no other wheels around close that have sensors?

Forscan Lite has the service mode for kicking that off.
Of course need tool that tells sensor to send out signal since sitting still.

I wonder if in this thread, Run means On, or actually supposed to Start the truck that frequently.
Mine was not running using the service mode in Forscan.

Pretty sure I saw this process on another Ford vehicle in a video, where it allowed merely letting enough air out of tire that it was seen as the one touched, confirming the training.
Obviously, start out overfilled, and gotta check afterwards.
But this can be done by yourself at least - no tools required.
