As usual things not taken care of tend to fall apart, regardless of the brand. My experience is that how the owner treats something has more to do with the condition of a vehicle once it leaves the dealership lot than anything else. Of course, it has to be well made in the first place, and every brand has cars the roll off the line on Friday afternoon at the end of the shift. ;)

My 14 year old Camry was better made than my Maverick by a country mile. As were my other two Toyota's. I used to say I'd never buy a Ford. I should have listened to myself. :ROFLMAO: If the Maverick wasn't the perfect vehicle package for my needs, I never would have bought a Ford. It's the only reason I haven't sold it too. Once a real alternative from a non-American brand comes, this thing is going to the scrap yard known as the used car market.
Same,I have not bought a new Ford since a 1985 mustang GT convertible.i currently own 4 mopars .I'm giving my maverick a chance, hoping to own it 10-15 years like my other dodges, time will tell I guess.

What's with all the Tacoma posts on a FORD maverick site? Spam maybe?
I personally haven't seen any Toyota specific things posted outside of the Tacoma subforum found under "Maverick vs the Competition" but yes, it's rather obvious that the sites have the same management when the Tacoma is barely a Maverick competitor, and the Rampage doesn't exist in the US. The Santa Cruz is a real competitor, but no subforum etc.
