If you want fast acceleration, why dink around? Add a NOS.
It's not a legal option to use on the street in many locations...

4K Towing was cheap drivetrain insurance for operating in the extremely hot desert conditions that are Sonora Mexico and Arizona USA.... in MY2024 it did lower the final drive... However, I also upgraded to 245 tires, so it was almost a wash in terms of engine rpms to distance traveled. All EBs from MY2025 forward permanently adopted the lower final drive of the 4K, whether they had 4K or not.

Almost embarresed to say, but I've towed 2300lbs just once in the 23 months of owning my 4k capable Maverick... So, I've used the brake controller only once. Tons of trips just towing 600 to 1000lbs or so, though.

Later today I'll have about 1400lbs as I'm towing my small 4x8 utility trailer with a heavy polish golf cart on board... about 40 miles... if I decide the cart is worth purchasing.

I swear I felt my 2023 EB without the tow pkg had more acceleration off the line than my 2025 EB with tow pkg.
pretty sure the 25 has a different 2.0 motor?

Yes, the tow package at one time came with a lower gear ratio, but it is somewhat overated here. It was not enough different to be really significant. 3.81:1 vs. 3.63:1 is a 5% difference. In most cases, when a manufacturer offers an optional ratio, it is usually a 10-15% difference in ratio. 5% does make a difference, but not one that you're likely to notice.
You’re definitely right!transmission cooler might be nice to have. Well,at 74 i guess i just as well let her keep the truck.i guess i w,ill just start driving my 99 lightning more and enjoy it more😎

I think you will find that a new polished golf cart will knock about 4-6 strokes off your game! My old cart did that, plus another 2 strokes off when I added the stereo and the Crager mag wheels! Now I shoot a nifty 104-108. Man, this golfing is fun.

Seriously, it was literally Polish, as in made in Poland... a Melex. I didn't buy it, it was a basket case, just too much missing and allot of frame rust to repair. I have a 30yr old Melex that I restored in August and use quite a bit.

Had to look them up on the Google. I had heard of them a couple times, have never saw one. They have some interesting and innovating looking carts/electric utility vehicles! I was looking at one time to figure how to get a motorcycle engine in my 1985 Club Car. I have seen a couple on youtube. Sold it a few years back and just rent the cart at the course these days. Golf is hard. Driving the cart is much more fun. We play about once a week, weather permitting.
