Well, yeah, kind of, sorta. Except that the brakes are undeniably grabby. I don't know if it's just a Hybrid thing. My right foot has it all figured out 99% of the time, but my wife hates to drive the Mav.
I’ll admit it took me 500 miles or so to break in my foot and for the brake pads to, ‘Bed in’ with the disks. I had to get used to the very sensitive nature of the Mav’s brakes.

But now I’m good, love the stock brakes.

I don't think it's a "hybrid thing". maybe an "electric brakes not engineered or programed correctly" thing.
It seems a vehicle designer would make it brake similar to every other car on the road. It feels like there is zero play in the pedal and if it were vacuum boosted brakes the booster is too strong.
I get it if it is what it is, it's just annoyed having to concentrate on not braking too hard. I've been driving this truck for 18k miles and it still annoys me.
Anyone who has driven it always says "What the....OMG the brakes are touchy! "
I'm just hoping there is a fix for it. If not it's ok, not the end of the world.🤷‍♂️ I will find out next week.
I do love this little truck!

I just get ready to brake and think of a spot 1000 feet down the road and not about my foot. Seems to work.

That's the kicker though - it's only the hybrid with the EBB.
The EB 2.0 has vacuum style booster like the prior cars we drove and got used to.

That's a point I hadn't thought of - most hybrid drivers aren't going to do a run of braking from various speeds various pressures like you'd get in normal driving to assist in bedding.

What's the normal effect on new brakes if only mainly used below 8mph and softly?
Like new from the factory build - they aren't doing it, dealer isn't.

Sorta like the poster that did a damper routine from ages ago on his hybrid because of the shakes & rattles it was doing, it's mainly brought in softly, and soft driving.
But he did that and had success on eliminating the bad effect.

Drive modes actually change the brake feel. Try slippery. It requires a lot more pressure but it is much less jerky. It allows you to coast forever too.
Yes! slippery mode feels very good. Call me crazy but sport mode the brakes feel more "normal" too.
Thanks!
