24 XLT and have noticed tons of wind noise on both the front doors. Anyone else?
Good afternoon. Are you still experiencing this wind noise concern? If so, I would like to look into it on my end. Please send over a private message with your VIN and the name/location of your local Ford dealer.

Subjective concerns are difficult to evaluate. If there is excessive wind noise from the doors (as judged against the Maverick "norm".), it's typically a door fitment/weather seal/run channel issue. If you're handy, you could investigate, otherwise, might be wise to have your dealer or a well regarded body shop have a look.

In addition to the sound insulation in the front fenders, I believe the Lariot also has some sound absorbing material in the door panels. From what I can gather from seeing photos of Lariot door panels it looks a lot like the fiberglass matting I've used in motorcycle mufflers in the past. XLT door panels do not seem to have it.

When I get time, I'm hoping to add the foam fender insulation and some muffler matting and perhaps something like Dynomat to the doors to cut down on some of the road noise. But after driving my old '93 Flareside for years the road noise in the Maverick isn't really that bad.

The part numbers I put in previous post are for Lariat trim level. My understanding and personal experience is the XLT and XL do not have the insulation.

Thanks to @breal showing me his XLT and giving me the part numbers I posted earlier my XLT now has them.

if its an xl or xlt you will have to get seals that go between the motor and cabin, if you open the door and look through you can see the engine. they sell them on the ford site i believe

I had a similar issue on my driver door in my lariat. Pointed it out to my dealer and they found the door seal was misshapen and replaced it. Seems to have quieted things down a good bit
