I dont expect mine to be pulled tomorrow tbh since I ordered a spray in bed liner without the lux. package. And i dont need nor want the other stuff with the luxury package. So ill have to wait until its my turn. But i can keep my fingers crossed regardless!
Delete the bed liner and have it done locally. Especially since you're not interested in the Lux Pkg.

Personally I applaud the astounding transparency of both @Dealerinsider and @Granger Ford

they are providing Details most dealers would not share with customers, let alone in a public forum.
Guess I was sleeping through history again as I missed it. NOT impressed yet.

Then you have never seen how secretive most publicly traded companies are about supply chain.

mist dealerships would be we have your deposit money when the vehicle gets here we will tell you. Until then suck it.

these two are telling us exactly what the constraints are, how many are being processed and when those units will be built and likely arrive.

it is a degree of openness and honesty rarely seen in the automotive world.

If you are used to completely open logistics like say autozone where they say we have x part in Y amount at Z warehouse, yes it can seem frustrating. But if such were the case, they would be saying we have this unit built and ready for transport.

thus is all pre-production Build to order. The vehicle is not for sale anywhere for any price yet.

It has been noted that non packaged spray in liner is a constraint, how much of a constraint is unknown. Right now the big constraint is hybrid transmission production which frees up slots on the line for ecoboost numbers.

Ford is rightly optimizing for available components to maximize unit production and at the same time ramping up assembly for the line overall.

having a low serial number is fun, me I’d rather have one where the worker has built a few hundred or more under his/her belt, and no fitment issues. A mm here a mm there makes a difference to my eye
I totally agree! I want my Mav yesterday, but I'm ok with waiting while they work out any kinks in the line so they produce it right the first time.

I can agree with the appreciation of their information. Having worked in the car industry, I’ve seen my fair share of lack of communication from sales people and managers.

On the flip side, it just makes me more anxious 😅, but that’s not their fault. They’re doing us a favor.

Sorry but I humbly disagree with you on this one.

I have PERSONALLY posted numerous questions to Zach at Granger. He has yet to respond to a single one of them. My personal feeling is he ONLY responds to the posters they have sold a truck to.

I have seen a couple of posts from Chapman concerning numbers but he continues to avoid the direct question concerning numbers. And as with Granger, picks and chooses which posts he will respond to. And I'm sure you completely understood hie earlier cryptic post about Current Maverick Commodities Current Maverick Commodities (8/11) - Spray-In Load Box Bedliner (A9SAG) & 2.5 Hybrid (EN-S3)

The ONLY sale rep that I feel has been helpful in any way is Tim Bartz of Long MacArthur.

But that is how I feel.

I haven't been waiting long, but the expectation is that "Lariat Hybrid First Edition" is coming in last... Luckily I'm not in any rush.

I was part of the team that wrote the, not current but one before that, autozone inventory control and ordering system so yeah it made sense to me. But there are many things you will understand that I will not because of your experience and personal knowledge.

As to Mr Tim Bartz, hopefully he has won your trust enough to serve as your salesman. If so, great fit. He gives you what you need, you give him a sale in return for meeting your expectations and customer needs.

Interstingly enough the dealership doesnt to it there themsleves but also i shopped around all the areas around me that do it will charge about the same if not even more than from the factory. Cuz....Connecticut. So ill most likely keep it. Ill just wait. Eventually theyll get the spray in liner ones done.

I have a spray-In ordered on my XL 2.0 AWD. Should I expect a delay?
probably so yea. How much of one im not sure. But thats what im told. They are prioritizing spray in liners for people whom ordered the luxury package. Atleast as of now. That may change in a few weeks to a month or so as well. im going to keep my order as is. Itll get done when it gets done. As long as its done before the end of the year that is. Some sort of constraint on the spray in liners. Idk why but it is a thing. Plastic drop in is a constraint too.

I'm not sure but I don't think they have as many as some of the big dealerships. Its definitely a smaller local ford dealership. I think I was the second person to place an order with them. Hopefully that helps my priority.
