what type of overspray is in the bed?….if its paint, it could very well be repair from transit damage because panel repair isnt done in the paint shop and the orange peel indicates a possible manual paint job ratger than automationI used to own fords a decade ago I had to lemon law 2 F250s I bought a bronco in 21 QC was terrible so I sold it I was excited for the maverick waited 2 years to get my lariat hybrid. I love this little truck but orange peel on the rear quarter and overspray in the bed I had enough ford pass points to get a dibl from a dealer that was 4 day hassle tracking one down and trying to find a dealer to take the points quite a few here in SoCal told me that the points were worthless. Finally find one took an hour in a dealership just to get get it home pull it out of the box and I have 2 passenger side pieces missing the driver side I was told by ford customer service and the dealer I cannot return it and I need to contact their vendor same old ford I just wish this truck was built by Toyota or even ram this is ridiculous
i am waiting for 3D printed cars.At this point you could just swap whatever brand you want vehicle with anything new/modern and they would be out of transportation in a year easily. It's a total toss up across every single manufacturer. Those 20-30 year old Toyota's are running on blown head gaskets and sandy blend fuel better than brand new "ingenuity" ever will. Pretty soon they are going to make the engines themselves out of plastic parts and you can assemble your $100k Geo Metro sized luxury vehicle like a set of Lego's - just make sure you do an unboxing video to generate hype and leave a review as soon as you get it - not before you actually test/use it for long periods.
I'll pass.L

I always bought ford cars and then got burned due to poor quality on my last 2. Have not bought one for 15 years and bought 2 Mavericks this past year. Bought a Ram in 2014 and it has been the best vehicle I have ever owned. Has 160K on the odometer and still going strong. I'm giving them a chance, but I am nervous about it. Hearing about the Explorer debacle and videos like this doesn't bode well:
