Third brake light same as an F-150?

A YT video said tha the maverick uses the same third brake light assembly as the F-150.
Is this correct?

If so there must be some nice LED aftermarket units out there eh?
Anybody have info on this subject?

What year F150's? Isn't it 2021-present? I'd have to see them next to each other but it doesn't sound unreasonable. They look similar.

Is the Mav Can bus? Asking because I'm adding it to the list of things to do

yup they are the same, 15+ and up I believe, I was going to get a morimoto unit with flasher but ended up getting something off amazon instead.

Wiring was a pain in the ass, the harness plug is somewhere up underneath the headliner, I tried to drop it and couldn't find it so eff it, cut the wires and spliced into them.
