Little ridiculous these dealers can put this kind of mark up on an xl EB

IFord does not own the dealers. I don’t how the franchise agreement works but the best Ford can do would be to not give them trucks and tell them they are bad.
The only way to get these people is to get people to boycott the dealership. Especially after things calm down. Let those F150’s and Bronco sports stack up on their lots. They will back off eventually because they are paying interest on the inventory.

YEAH, I agree. Something in the back of my mind screams" price gouging "but it can't be that cause it's voluntary right? But I still remember the 1970's when it was serious matter when things got so overpriced and they were shortages everywhere. I'm not a socialist , but this is crazy times we're in. which reality? I still prefer the reality I grew up in living in SoCal. Pre-teens to mid 20's or so (1969-early 1980s). That was the sweet spot for me in so many ways. Later realities, not so much

I believe in a capitalist society, but I also believe that these dealers should be allowed to charge whatever they want as long as they also agree to free housing, three hots and a cot in our prison system. I would say it is a fair and equitable trade for screwing the rest of us. MSRP should be respected.

It’s not even on their lot….it is someone’s order and more than likely it Is not even going to be bought by whoever ordered it.
Dealers like to use people’s orders to get someone in the door to then try to sell them something else.

He can't on ICE vehicles. He is trying on EVs by creating a new division with new rules but dealers are suing Ford, some members of Congress are threatening to investigate Ford for being unfair to dealers and state car dealer associations are in an uproar. That's what we get for letting our state politicians protect dealer franchises instead of our interests.

Good for you. The difference is I never even knew about a Maverick truck until just a few months ago. Then I tried to get on, and you know the rest of the story. I can afford the one I got..even though the sealer-ship marked it up... a lot.
