The problem with Toyota trucks is the same as with the Honda Ridgeline . . . They have horrible gas mileage for their size.
They size is all off too. Its all puffy and big outside while being more cramped than the Maverick inside.

It's kind of funny to read this old thread knowing that a Tacoma PreRunner is specifically a 2WD Taco with much of the 4WD parts (bigger brakes, wheels/tires/rear lockers on some - it should have been all) but no 4WD. It was based on desert race pre-runner trucks - 2WD trucks with 4WD parts that would pre-run the race route. When it caught on, similar packages popped up on most of the other small trucks and some of the full-sizers.

I had one. I got it stuck a few times, only once getting a tow out. Had that truck had lockers, I still would have gotten stuck...because I had no idea what lockers were for. However, getting stuck in that truck is why I know what they are for now.

I'm wondering if Garden Party Taco Kid, like many of us, just didn't know how to use the tool he had.
